The boom period upmarket apartment building needs a revisit. The foyer is a vast, empty space that was gasping for more creature comfort. The high ceiling with no acoustic panels meant that you won't be able to catch the words of a person talking to you a metre away. There is no furniture to let the residents use while waiting for friends to join or for a taxi to arrive. Also the dark corners making it so difficult to be utilised.
The client approached with many ideas to improve the vast space to turn it into usable and welcoming space. It is a series of simple, sketch design proposals from which the client could select the elements they prefer and combine to finalise their design within the limited budget.
The photos shown here are the currently existing situation.
